Інститут проблем міцності iменi Г.С. Писаренка Національної академії наук є ланкою науково-дослідної діяльності i організаційної структури Національної академії наук України.
Інститут проводить дослідження за такими науковими напрямками:
• граничний стан i критерії міцності матеріалів i конструкцій;
• розрахункові і експериментальні методи дослідження напружено-деформованого стану;
• механіка руйнування і живучість конструкцій;
• коливання неконсервативних механічних систем.
G.S. Pysarenko Institute for Problems of Strength of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is the scientific-research entity within the organizational structure of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
At present, investigations at the Institute are performed in the following research areas:
• ultimate state and strength criteria of materials and structures;
• calculation and experimental methods for studying the stress-strain state;
• fracture mechanics and survivability of structures with cracks;
• vibration of nonconservative mechanical systems.
